What is an ABW work environment? ABW, or Activity-Based Workplace, is a flexible approach to work environment design that prioritizes employee autonomy and choice. In an ABW workspace, employees are not assigned fixed workstations, but instead have access to a variety of different work areas and resources, including private offices, collaborative spaces, and quiet zones. ABW also emphasizes the use of technology to facilitate communication and collaboration, and encourages employees to choose the work setting that is best suited to their current task or project.

When it comes to optimizing audio quality, ABW environments are a challenge. For examples, some workstations can be used in rooms with wall mounted camera & speaker that introduce loud echo while other workstations are placed in noisy locations that introduce ambient noise.
